Casey Stringer

Casey Stringer is a performer and educator currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Tuba Performance at Texas Christian University. He previously earned his Master’s of Music in Tuba Performance from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, studying under Dr. Clay Garrett, Scott Mendoker, and Dr. J.D. Salas.
Mr. Stringer has taught at both the collegiate and public-school levels. At Texas Christian University, he works with non-major applied students, teaches low brass techniques to future music educators, and leads the Tuba Euphonium Ensemble. He also maintains an active private studio in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area, working with students from beginners through advanced high school players. His teaching centers on building strong fundamentals, musical expression, and the confidence students need for auditions, performances, and lifelong musicianship. Mr. Stringer values creating supportive yet challenging environments where young musicians can grow.
Mr. Stringer loves spending his time off with his family and their dogs. He looks forward to bringing this experience to the students and music program at McLennan Community College.
